Salary:	Starts at $16.87 - Up to $25.30 (based upon experience)
Days:	Monday through Friday
Hours:	40 hours per week

Duties:

Role:

A consumer loan assistant understands, communicates and works to achieve and follow the credit unions mission and member promise statements. Provides clerical and administrative support to the lending team. Follow the member mission and promise statements.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Review and proof consumer lending package for accuracy and closure.

Review delinquent accounts and attempt to collect debt.

Provides assistance on special projects as assigned.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Performance Measurements:

1. Produce accurate and complete loan documentation, files, and reports.

2. Actively advise members on products and services to achieve or exceed 100% of all established individual department and credit union strategic performance goals.

3. Provide informed, prompt, accurate service, and support to all members. Resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, communicating the resolution to affected parties.

4. Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of Credit Union loan products, policies, procedures, standards, and applicable state and federal government rules and regulations. Ensure compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulations.

5. Maintain complete and well-organized files and records. Submits required reports by established deadlines.

6. Maintain a professional work environment. Maintain the Credit Union’s professional reputation with members and other outside contacts.

Additional Desired Attributes:

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience	One year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education	A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills	Work involves contact with persons beyond immediate associates regarding routine matters for the purpose of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors), requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
Other Skills	General office equipment such as calculators, computers, photocopiers, and scanners. Demonstrates carefulness about detail and thoroughness in completing work tasks. Talks to others to convey information effectively.
